Health

Altzheimer’s Research Trust. UK-based charitable trust that funds research into ways to cure, prevent or treat Alzheimer’s and related dementias. The web site provides a useful information section and offers a free booklet titles “Alzheimer’s Facts”.

EDMR Institute. Rapid Eye Movement is known to be an important aspect of mental processing during sleep. Eye Movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing (EMDR) is a practice that uses eye movement in psychotherapy.

AcademicHelp.net. People sometimes say that they would like to contribute artices to websites such as ours, but are unsure about their writing skills. AcademicHelp.net is a resource for students, teachers and people who would like to improve their academic writing skills. Their website consists of valuable guides, writing samples and ideas that help eager learners to develop.

Learning

The Study Skills Help Page: Learning Strategies for Success. The site was developed by Dr Carolyn Hooper, the Learning Strategies coordinator of University Seminar at Middle Tennessee State University and provides a wealth of information on learning strategies. Although targeted at students, the information provided is of value to everyone.
